Front Office Manager – Doubletree by Hilton

Christopher Cassidy is the Front Office Manager at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central Hotel. He is vital to the exceptional  customer experience from the moment the guest  walks through the hotel doors to check out.

He is one of many success stories that show how you can progress at Klarent Hospitality. He started as a casual receptionist in 2016 and has been promoted every year since. In 2021, Christopher was named a “future leader in the industry” at the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland awards.

During the COVID lockdown, Christopher was a vital member of an eight-person team that kept the hotel open to accommodate key workers from all around the world.

Christopher studied International Tourism Management at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Christopher is a shining star at Klarent Hospitality and  aims to progress into a General Manager role in the future. He is passionate about helping to train and influence the next generation of talent in the hospitality industry.

Taskforce Manager 

Mikel is the current Taskforce Manager for Klarent Hotels. His team is responsible for operational skills training across the UK.

This is an exciting new role at Klarent, dedicated to helping our team members learn the skills to deliver great customer service every time.

Mikel has a proven track record at delivering Operational excellence at Klarent and was the ideal candidate for this role.  He is a great example of how you can develop and progress your career at Klarent Hospitality.

He joined us in 2018 as the Food and Beverage Manager at the London King’s Cross Doubletree by Hilton. He was responsible for managing the department, including hiring new staff, team training and leading the department.

In 2021, he was promoted to Operations Manager at the Doubletree, where he was responsible for the smooth running of the hotel operation. This included helping to support key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He became Taskforce Manager for Klarent Hospitality in 2022. He aims to inspire other team members to follow their own career path, just like he has.

Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Doubletree by Hilton

Katie Booth is the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. She is responsible for managing operations of Food and Beverage outlets including Cask, the exciting Bar Concept that the hotel.  Cask is renowned for linking in with local produce suppliers and at the forefront delivering a warm and friendly guest experience.

Katie joined Klarent Hospitality on the Graduate programme and has worked across several Klarent Hospitality hotels, gaining vital experience as her career has progressed within the company.

She started in the hospitality industry in 2018 with an internship which led to Katie being appointed Graduate Manager at the Doubletree Hotel in Glasgow in 2019.

The structure at Klarent Hospitality meant that Katie was able to complete work placements at Doubletree Chelsea and Doubletree Bristol North – gaining vital experience in different sizes of hotels.

In April 2022, Katie became Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Doubletree Hotel in Glasgow, focusing on larger-scale hotel operations.

Katie’s goal is progress with support and development into General Manager role at Klarent Hospitality in the future.
